Richard (Dick) C. Goodrich, 68, died Saturday at the home of his daughter in Arcata. He was born in Nelson, Nebraska and had resided in this area for the past nine years.
He was a retired construction supervisor for the U.S. Government and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Arcata and the Arcata Methodist church.
Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. James Rynerson, Arcata; Mrs. Doris Clemens, Pondosa, Ore.; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Marie Pfeiffer, Hartley, Iowa, Mrs. Helen Ferebee, Nelson, Neb.; Harold Goodrich, North Bend, Washington; Mrs. Beulah White, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Cortney, Richard and Robert Clemens, Pondosa, Ore.; Mark and Gary Rynerson, Arcata; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Debbie Clemens, Berkeley, and many nieces and nephews.
The remains will be sent to Stevenson, Wash., where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Hood River, Ore.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Paul’s Funeral Chapel, Arcata.
