Mrs. Marjorie E. Davis, former resident of Bellwood, but for the past two years a resident of 214 Fifth avenue, Altoona, died at Mercy hospital at 2:50 o’clock Saturday afternoon after a brief illness.

She was born in Patton, Pa., April 5, 1899, the daughter of Lee and Ella (Merriman) Dillen.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde Davis; three daughters, Miss Anna Drinosky of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Martha Dysart and Mrs. Ruth McCaulley, both of Altoona, seven grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Ashley Dillen of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Lewis Port of Elyria, Ohio, Private Lewis Dillen of Mississippi, George Dillen of Tyrone, Lloyd, Chester and Oliver Dillen, all of Bellwood, Mrs. Frances Jones of Altoona and John Dillen of Claysburg.

She was a member of the First Evangelical church.  Funeral services were held in the First Evangelical church in Altoona, in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. C. Kleffel, followed by interment in Logan Valley cemetery.

She was born in Patton, Pa., April 5, 1899, the daughter of Lee and Ella (Merriman) Dillen.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde Davis; three daughters, Miss Anna Drinosky of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Martha Dysart and Mrs. Ruth McCaulley, both of Altoona, seven grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Ashley Dillen of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Lewis Port of Elyria, Ohio, Private Lewis Dillen of Mississippi, George Dillen of Tyrone, Lloyd, Chester and Oliver Dillen, all of Bellwood, Mrs. Frances Jones of Altoona and John Dillen of Claysburg.

She was a member of the First Evangelical church.  Funeral services were held in the First Evangelical church in Altoona, in charge of the pastor, Rev. H. C. Kleffel, followed by interment in Logan Valley cemetery.
