Black’s, Nov. 17 – A pleasant and enjoyable party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
H. Mayers Saturday evening in honor of their son, Elmer J. H. Mayers’ birthday. At 7 o’clock

present.

Black’s, Nov. 17 – A pleasant and enjoyable party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel
H. Mayers Saturday evening in honor of their son, Elmer J. H. Mayers’ birthday. At 7 o’clock
the guests began coming and kept on until nearly one hundred neighbors and friends were
present.
The evening was spent in social chat and the playing of games of various kinds. At 11 o’clock
all were invited to the dining-room where a table awaited them with all the delicacies of the
season, consisting of oranges, cakes, candies, fruit and wine.
