Mr. and Mrs. Harry D. Sitman of South Third street left Wednesday at noon for Devan, Pa., been called there on account of the serious illness of our townsman’s father, Mr. William Sitman, Sr., who is confined to a hospital in that section.  The aged gentleman is almost ninety years old and for some time past has been making his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Justus Douglass at Devan.  His illness is such as to cause his friends much apprehension.
