Public Sale of valuable Farm Stock along highway between Martins Creek and Bangor, near the Grist Mill formerly operated by Adam Sandt, on Friday, March 19th, 1937 at 1 P. M., the following, to wit:
Two head of horses, 1 Sorrel horse, 14 years old, weighing 1600 lbs., 1 Grey horse, 14 years old, weighing 1500 lbs., both good workers.
Six head of cattle, some fresh by time of sale, all heavy milkers, mostly Jerseys and Guernseys, very good testers; one 9-month old Guernsey bull.
Some chickens by the pound, one turkey hen.
Farm Machinery
One 6 ft. Champion grain binder, 6 ft. Moline mower, 5 ft. Osborne mower, 8 ft New McCormick hay rake, 6-prong hay tedder, 2-horse wagon and hay rack complete, 8-tube Farmers Favorite grain drill, Simplex corn planter, single corn planter, single cultivator, 2 Oliver No. 40 walking plows, Oliver No. 84 riding plow, Cle Track tractor, Case 16 in. bottom tractor plow used only to plow 5 acres, a right and left plow, Messinger 22 in. threshing machine mounted with bagger and straw carrier complete; one-horse wagon and body, new wagon body, spring tooth harrow, 60 tooth smoothing harrow, 6 h. p. Galloway engine on truck with saw complete; 12 h. p. Messinger engine on truck, No. 10 New Holland feed mill, No. 6-1/2 New Holland feed mill, platform mill scale, feed chests, wheelbarrow, heavy set of lead gear harness, singe harness, bridles, collars and lines, full line of blacksmith shop equipment, hay by the ton, oats by the bu., corn by the ton. A lot forks, rakes, shovels, traces, ropes and many other items not mentioned on a well stocked farm. Something for everybody.
