Snow Hill Beat Meeting. A meeting was held to appoint delegates to the county convention. D. Palmer on a motion was called to the chair and W.S. Purifoy was requested to sit as secretary.
On motion of Capt. E. Burson a committee of 5: Capt. E. Burson, J.C. Williams, L.L. Lee, E.A. Albritton & J.I. Bizzell were appointed to select suitable persons as delegates.
Elected were Capt. E. Burson, Dr. C.C. Jones, Capt. J.W. Purifoy, D. Palmer, Dr. D.D. Jones & Isaac Schwarz as delegates and J.I. Bizzell, Capt. J.P. Speir, Dave Skinner, E.R. McElroy, W.S. Purifoy, Capt. J.W. Steen as alternates.
