NEW MARKET SPRING MEETING, 1860--
Will commence on TUESDAY, May 8th, and continue five days.

FIRST DAY-- TUESDAY-- Sweepstake, mile heats, for 3 years olds; entrance $300, forfeit $100.
Closed with eight subscribers.

Gen. T. J. Green's Miss Tobacco Fly, by Red Eye, dam by Priam.
O. P. Hare's ch. f. by Boston, Jr., dam Trustee.
Thomas H. Christmas' b. c. by Red Eye, dam by Hedgeford.
John Belcher's b. c. by Whitby, dam Gohanna.
Robert Alston's ch. c. by Highlander, dam Kitty Puryear.
Fondren & White's b. c. by Red Eye, dam Margrave.

SAME DAY.-- Match for $1,000, half forfeit; mile heats.
Oysterman and ch. g. out of Andrewetta, by Griff Edmondson.

SECOND DAY-- WEDNESDAY.-- Bollingbrook Hotel Purse $250; two mile heats.

SAME DAY.-- Match race, for $200, mile heats.
Two 3 year olds entered, as follows:

Bullion, by Revenue, dam Boston.
Buck Eye, by Hawkins' Priam, dam by Boston.

THIRD DAY-- THURSDAY.-- Proprietor's Purse, $300; two mile heats.

FOURTH DAY-- FRIDAY.-- Jockey Club Purse, 3 mile heats, $500.

FIFTH DAY-- SATURDAY.-- Two Races.-- First race: Match between Oysterman and Annette Hall for $10,000; four mile heats.
ENTRIES:
Annette Hall, 4 years old, oh. m., by Griff Edmondson, dam Virginia Payne, by Herald.
SAME DAY.-- Sweepstakes, mile heats, for 3 year olds; $100 entrance, $50 forfeit.  To close on the 30th instant-- four or more to make a race.
