SPRING RACES.
FAIRFIELD SPRING RACES, 1860.-- The Spring meeting at the FAIRFIELD RACE COURSE, near Richmond Va., will commence on TUESDAY, the 15th of May, and continue four days.

TUESDAY-- FIRST DAY.--  A sweepstake for three year old coats <sic> and filleys, <sic> out of mares that had not produced a winner up to the 1st of March last, mile heats, $100 entrance, $50 forfeit, closed with the following entries:

R. A. Alsted names ch. c. by Highlander, dam Kitty Puryear.
T. W. Doswell names ch. c. by Red Eye, dam Seline.
J. L. Baltzer names ch, h, by Red Eye, dam by Boston, Jr.
John Belcher names (Moore's) b. c. by Red Eye, dam Bav Betsy.
F. M. Hall names ch. c. Eugene, by Revenue, dam Fanny Fern, by Glencoe.
Also, ch. f. Financier, dam Betty Steel, by Steel.

WEDNESDAY-- SECOND DAY.-- Proprietor's purse $250, two mile heats.

THURSDAY-- THIRD DAY.-- Jockey Club Purse $500, three mile heats.

FRIDAY-- FOURTH DAY.-- A sweepstake for three years old colts and filleys, <sic> mile heats, $250 entrance, $100 forfeit.  $200 to be added by the Club if three or more start, five or more nominations to fill the stake.  Named and closed on the 1st of March, 1860 as follows:
