Walter F. Krise
Walter F. Krise. Of North Second street, Bellwood, died Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at his home of a cerebral hemorrhage following a brief illness.He was born in St. Lawrence, Clearfield county, April 12, 1885. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran church of Bellwood, the Coalport lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, Williamsport and consistory and Jaffa Shrine.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marian Evelyn (Waltersi) Krise, whom he married June 30, 1940; a son J. Walter Kinsel Krise to the first marriage; also by these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Roy Beers, Bellwood; Mrs. Oscar Peterson of McKeesport; john, Fallen Timber; Blair, Harrisburg, and Clarence, DuBois.
Mr. Krise has been a well known and highly esteemed citizen of the borough for many years and during this time was engaged as a carpenter. He was a skilled workman and up until sickness overtook him had been working as a pattern maker for J. E. Williamson, the gray iron broker. The announcement of his passing came as a distinct shock to all who shared his acquaintance.
