Mrs. Amelia Bishop, 76 years old, widow of John G. Bishop, died at 4 o’clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law, John J. Houck, 847 Milton avenue. She had been ill for two weeks with a complication. Mrs. Bishop was a native of Island Park but spent practically all of her life in this city. Her husband died twelve years ago.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John J. Houck, Mrs. William Rinker and Mrs. Henry Michael, all of Easton; four sons, Edward, of Cleveland; William, of Easton; Fred, of Phillipsburg, and Albert, at home; a sister, Mrs. John Havey, of Easton, and two brothers: Josiah Moser, of Belfast, and Levi Moser, of West Easton.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church. Mrs. Bishop is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
