  1. Hi, I'm just wondering what this issue list is from and what it's about. My ancestor is Benjamin Barse and I would like to find out more about him. Thanks.

    1. -Hey Ken,
      This article was transcribed from a newspaper called "The People’s Journal", published in Coudersport, PA, on 21-May-1857. The article is on Page 2, Column 6, but there is no more information than that.

      It looks to me as if Ben and A. Ansley are being sued by Hosea Cushing, but not saying why.

      Coudersport is in Potter County, Pennsylvania, but their web site does not have any civil cases posted online.
