{Transcriber's / Blogger's Note: Even though it is stated above that William Edward Alexander enlisted in 1862 in Company G, One Hundred and Fifty-Fifth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and served two years and eleven months, this same books contains the corrected roll of the regiment and William Edward Alexander is not listed there. I will make any updates if I find him anywhere else in the book.}
