Born in Millvale, Ohio, May27, 1837.  A.B. [Bachelor of Arts], Miami University, 1858; M.A. [Master of Arts], Miami University, 1861.  Private, Fifth Ohio Calvary, U. S. Army, 1861.  Editor, Telegraph, Hamilton, Ohio, 1867-1879.  Farmer, Woods Station, Ohio, 1882-1888.  Died July 22, 1888.  Buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Ohio.
