Lambert, John - 1890

Lambert, John, Miner
January 2, 1890, 2nd District, Yough Slope Colliery, Westmoreland County.
Lambert was a German miner and had mined coal for eight or nine years.  He was instantly killed by a fall of slate.  An inquest was held on his body and a verdict of accidental death rendered.  Age 29.  Single.

October 23, 1890, 1st District, Catsburg Colliery, Washington County.
Fatally injured by falling slate.  Died the same day.  Married.  He leaves a widow in  Italy; how many children I am not able to learn.

Fatally injured by a fall of slate.  Lived about nine days after being hurt.  Died on the 16th.  Age 63.  Married.  Five orphans, all grown except one.
