TO THE VOTERS OF HENRICO COUNTY.-- By the advice of my friends, and in accordance with my own wishes, I announce myself a candidate for the office of SHERIFF OF HENRICO COUNTY, and solicit your suffrages at the State election in May next.

As a guarantee for the faithful performance of the duties of the office, I refer you to all who know me for the manner in which those duties have been performed during the past three years that I have acted as deputy for the present Sheriff.
