Wm Whitesides, tea merchant, died this morning at a place he had taken for his family near ye Germantown road. Doct. John Morris is dead, and several others whom we don't know.

Hockley, John - 1793
1793, 7 September
About a week past, a little son of Tommy Wister who was at his Grandfather's Richd Waln's, was unfortunately drowned in the Mill-pond. Heard of the death of one William Hays, who lived near John Skyrin's in Water St, and the death of John Hockley - a young apprentice to Jamey and Sammy Fisher.
