Kelly, James, Miner
May 21, 1890, 2nd District, Alexandria Colliery, Westmoreland County.
Kelly was an Irish miner, He had been mining coal for many years. He was fatally injured by a fall of coal. He lived one week after the accident, and he condemned himself for getting under the loose coal. He said that he did not know why he got under the coal, and that he would have warned any one else of the danger. Age 35. Single.
