Converse, William L. - 1841

Taxes!        Taxes!!        Taxes!!!--
Corporation Tax for the year 1841 is 3 mils on the dollar.

I have this day received the duplicate for the collection of tax for this year, and the law chartering the town of Urbana, requires that I shall make personal demand on all resident tax payers, and advertise in some newspaper of general circulation in said town, ten days before I make distress and sale, and that I make return of the duplicate within 3 months after the receipt of the same.  Those interested will please take notice.
