Fox Hunt Plans Made
Three active organizations, the Altoona Rifle & Pistol Club, The Altoona Conservation and Wild Life Club and the Bellwood Sportsman Association, have united to hold a joint fox hunt Feb. 22nd.
Dr. Buzzard, Dr. Burket and John Tobin will manage the fifteen fox hounds. John Estep is plotting the location on the Alleghenies back of his farm.
A very unique schedule is being worked up to "out fox" the fox. The Altoona Clubs are sure of their dogs and fox's habits. John Estep knows each fox by name.
With this combination plus good weather a lot of sport will be had.
Technicolor pictures will be taken at various stages of the hunt by M. H. Eckroth.
Roast ham, bean soup and coffee will be served at the park by Chef Eckroth.
The meeting place is at Cornmessers Store, Main and Cambria streets. The time is 7:30 a.m.
The combined clubs extend to you a cordial invitation to join us. We want you war veterans to join us after four years absence. Don't miss this hunt or "you'll be sorry".
