Arrived at New York City, May 17, 1890; started business as a die cutter, 1893; went to Paris, 1898, and became pupil of Louis Oscar Roty; exhibited at Paris Exposition and Salon, 1900, Buffalo, 1904, St. Louis, 1904 receiving awards from each.

Has works in Paris Mint, Munich Glyptothek, Vienna Numismatic Society, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and Numismatic Society, New York, Luxembourg Museum, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.  Won gold medal at the International Exposition, Brussels, 1910.

Member of American Numismatic and Archeological Society, National Sculpture Society, Architectural League, Arts Club New York
