Harris, John, Miner
March 26, 1889, 5th District, Percy Colliery, Fayette County.
Fatally injured while playing about the ovens.  He unknowingly jumped into the tunnel or opening in top of one of the coke ovens; the boy was taken out immediately but his burns were so severe that he died in about nine days.  Age 13.
