Clarion County Mines – Clarion Shaft
This was fifty feet in depth, and was opened in 1877 to reach the Lower Kittanning coal, by the Clarion Coal Company, W. W. Greenland, manager. Operations ceased some years ago, and the shaft is now abandoned.
