The Lost Man.
The Sandusky Clarion of the 27th ult. says: We are sorry to say that no intelligence has yet been received, to relieve the anxiety of our citizens in regard to the mysterious disappearance of Col. Hunter, and the opinion has become pretty general that he has been murdered.” The Mayor of Sandusky City has offered a reward of $150, and several of the citizens of that place have added $75 more to the reward, for the recovery of the body and apprehension of the murderers.~ Western Citizen, 07 Dec 1841, Page 2, Column 3
