Native of Wirtemburg, Germany. Subject of King William. Arrived in United States on 05 Sep 1837 and settled in Westmoreland County. Filed Declaration of Intention on 22 Aug 1838 at the age of 38 years. Both John Hecht and Jacob Shotts (signed in German) vouch to have known petitioner more than 5 years. Admitted as citizen on 20 Aug 1844. Prothonotary: David Fullwood.
