The young folks of Old Hamlin indulged in a masquerade ball at the residence of A. W. Bradley, last Monday evening. White robes, red blankets and Mother Hubbard dresses served as their costumes.~ Audubon County Journal, 28 Jan 1897, Page 1, Column 2
