11.  Mary Ann Furnace, cold blast, 1844, on Paint Creek, at the crossing of the Franklin-Brookville turnpike; built by John Black, John Brenneman, David McKee, and John Thom; sold to John and Adam Black; was eight feet across the bosh; produced in 1846, 1,100 tons of iron; abandoned in 1851.
