Louisville, June 28.
Whig Ratification Meeting.-- The Whig ratification meeting, held here on Saturday night, was most enthusiastic, surpassing the campaign of 1840. Speeches were made by the Hon. Theodore Williams, Hon. Thos. F. Marshall, Mr. Upton of Louisville, and several others. During the firing of some cannon a premature explosion took place, seriously injuring two men, each of whom had to have an arm amputated.
