Borkiwitz, Rabbi - 1889

CITY NEWS.
One of the largest weddings of the season took place last Wednesday evening {04-Sept-1889} at I. O. O. F. Hall.  Mr. David Passon and Miss Rachael Cohn being united in hold bonds of matrimony, Rabbi Borkiwitz of Kansas City, officiating.  Miss Cohn is one of our popular society ladies and the daughter of our fellow townsman J. Cohn.

The groom, Mr. Passon, is well-known, being one of our leading business men and a prominent member of the Masonic order of this city.  After the ceremony, the party partook of an elegant wedding supper, while Buch’s orchestra discoursed fine strains from Mendelson and Strauss.  The RECORD wishes the young couple happiness and God speed.
