WANTED-- FIFTY HANDS, to work on the Fayetteville and Coalfields RAILROAD in North Carolina.  For good hands,  I will pay from $1 25 to $1 50 per day.  Board $10 per month.  The section of country which the road runs through is as healthy as any section in the United States.

WILLIAMS & HICKS, will continue the PRODUCE COMMISSION BUSINESS, at the stand of the late concern, where he hopes, by strict personal attention to business, he will be favored with a continuance of the patronage of the customers of our late firm.

Mr Wm. D. Walker will remain with him, and attend to the books, accounts, &c., as heretofore.

HICKS, I take pleasure in saying to my country friends that he is a gentleman of ample means to conduct the business, and, having the aid of excellent and competent assistants, cheerfully recommend him for their patronage.  Having retained the FORWARDING AND UPLAND interest, I shall, until further notice, remain at their old stand, and will take charge of any consignments for shipment or sale consigned by dealers, or fill orders on commission.  On articles on hand cash advances will be given.
