Whitaker, W D - 1889

An aged turtle was picked up near Kingston, NY recently that had the following inscription on its back : "W. D. Whitaker, Aug. 10, 1771".
~ Jeannette Dispatch, Friday, May 24, 1889, Page 2, Column 3
